This is was so very touching. The angst was so very like the Doctor. So worried about anyone getting too close to him. So worried that he may look needy and vulnerable.

I liked this line the very best because in the end Rose leaving him was his biggest fear of all:
He likes it when she’s in his room, because he can keep the illusion that she’s not going to leave him.
