Also next episode I'm almost 100% certain that we find out who Dr. Whale is! (aside from some guy who wants to bang the nuns/fairies ;D) It's been bugging me for a while now, because SO MANY THEORIES.
I sort of love Belle's role in Rumple's life, because if it hadn't been for her, things might have been even worse, y'know? Like how someone on tumblr, I think it was, mentioned that he throws Belle in the dungeon before going all 'aaaaargh' on his furniture. I think he was very much afraid that he would hurt her, like he hurt Milah way back when. And the fact that he was so ready to let Belle go in 2x4 shows so much character-growth - I think with her help, he can become a better man, and someone who 'deserves' to be the father of Bae: someone he'll actually want to forgive, because not only is there all the magic abuce, trickery, murdering and lying for 300+ years, there is also the very close betrayals like breaking their deal and killing his mother(!!!!). And if Rumple hasn't shown himself to at least actively try to change, then I can't see how Bae can forgive him for all of that. Also, on one hand, creating the whole curse just to find Bae is a very wonderful and amazingly devoted thing to do, but it also affected thousands of peoples lives negatively and if Bae is any sort of a good person still, I think that's going to be on his conscience, that his dad did that for him (at least we now know that Rumple tried different means as well, what with wanting the bean) (sorry for the rant. I have a lot of Baelfeels at the moment)
I've set myself to watching Lost at some point, because everyone's been praising it and I'm really loving the narrative of OUAT, with season-long cons and slow reveals and plots that give you something and then five episodes later hits you in the face and go 'HA YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON, YOU REALLY DIDN'T SUCKER'. And I still need to finish Firefly and Supernatural and I want to watch Parade's Day as well!
