Wow, I'm jumping ahead here (since I'm only on 1x06, and I haven't seen the Tenth Doctor yet...) but lovely story. The dialogue feels so right, and this is just perfect:
Her eyebrows almost hit her hair-line. “Ummm… are you trying to tell me that kissing doesn’t mean the same for you as it does for me? Because if it’s some odd Time Lord-custom that really just means ‘buy me a banana’, then I am very sorry for the misunderstanding…”
This is a great line too:
Nine hundred years of not saying: she figured this was as bloody close as it got.
(Oh, and btw, you've got mail on Yuku, just so you know. ;) )
