Great write-up! I agree with you on pretty much everything. Love the first Guy/Marian scene, with Guy in the full glory of his painful social awkwardness and Marian not at all shy about telling him off. (Even if the attempt to inject contemporary politics is a bit cringeworthy -- outlaws can be executed without trial in times of war? Umm, the whole reason they were called outlaws is that they were outside the protection of the law and could be killed without trial or any kind of legal process at any time.)
I love, seriously love Robin in this ep. Actually, I have to say that while I'm definitely a Guy girl, I love or at least like Robin, period. On my first watch I was seriously put off by some of his jerk moment, but ... yeah, I'm a Robin lover (or at least liker) too.
Vaisey, you are awesome. Very true about how he's impossible to intimidate. His unraveling in S3 was quite interesting to watch.
