He's so sweet, *because* he's awkward, isn't he? I think the scene did really well in showing the whole Marian/Guy dynamic in the first season. And it also showed Guy's true motivations for working for someone like the Sheriff. But I very much agree with the outlaw-thing. Also, it seemed a bit too risky for Marian to step up like that. I swear, all the hints that has been dropped about her being on Robin's side... Denial, thy name is Guy of Gisborne.... And I was thinking the exact same thing! I've found that people often tend to be more aggressive when they're uncomfortable. (Also, I really don't want Guy to *want* to cut people tongues out!)
I'm glad that you're fond of him as well! It seems that all who've seen it either hate him or absolutely love him. I find him to be an arrogant jerk, but with his heart in the right place and generally a good main character for the show. He's how I always imagined Robin Hood to be, I think.
And about the unraveling of the Sheriff, they just showed s3 ep6 ('Do you Love me?') and I thought the Sheriff/Guy-fight was *brilliant*! I knew it was going to happen, but I hadn't watched it until now. It was awesome, as was Prince John!)
(yep, saw it just now and responded. And you're not being a pest at all, quite the opposite in fact :D )
