Haha, there with you :D I think I'm not in the despising-zone, because the first time I watched the show I identified much more with Willow who is much more like me as a person, so the first time around I wasn't all up in arms about Buffy and her relationship. It was around S5 that changed, mainly because of Riley's behavior towards her which MADE ME SO FRIGGIN' ANGRY. It actually made me more angry than Angel's ping-pond attitude during the S3 finale 'I have to go... but I want to stay... you're acting like a brat... I have to go'. I mean, at least he had a better reason than Riley.
