I have watched Torchwood so many times I know most of the episodes by heart, and keep making connections and headcannon and observations in my head, because I think it leaves so much to the viewers imagination, most times. Like how we kind of get to know Ianto "properly" on Cyberwoman, but then that's it, the next episode he's back in the hub and Jack says "you shouldn't be here", and then he goes "neither should you" and that's it, and then he goes on a mission with them on Counrtycide, clearly something he didn't do before, and we don't see how he went from the boy who nobody gave a second glance to to that. Idk, Torchwood is a bit faulty plot-wise and sometimes it leaves me like "what the hell just went on there", but I love it dearly.
