Underworld fanfic {Selene-centric}
Oct. 3rd, 2010 10:53 amYesterday I was watching some old fanvideos of the first Underworld movie and I was yet again enchanted by the wonderful universe and dark story. Especially the whole Selene-Viktor-Sonja dynamic, which I think they could have used much more time on (and that I hope they do in the future movie), because it is one of the most important parts of the story and one of the driving forces behind the plot.
Anyway, I sat down and just started writing, focusing on Selene. I never thought I'd actually write something about her, as she is not my fave character, but it just came to me. It's sort of a foreshadowing piece and there's really no plot it in, it's just, well... Selene.
As always, this is also on my ff.net account (link in the sidebar)
Title: The Night is Darkest
Summary: 'She's seen nights that aren't dark, because vampire eyes are hardened and illuminate even the darkest of corners.' Introspect on Selene at the start of the first movie. The proud, icy daughter of Viktor. Oneshot
Disclaimer: I could do without Selene, but pleeeasepleeease gimme Lucian???
( This city never sleeps... )

I'm finally writing again! 'Inception' kicked me back into gear so expect to see more from me from now on. Anyway, after watching it, I went home and wrote this, in the middle of the night, so ignore the lame quality. I still liked it enough to post it, though ^^
You can also see it here, at my fanfiction.net account: www.fanfiction.net/u/1729008/KeepCounting
Title: What Lies Within
Summary: A short piece, centering on Ariadne after the Fischer-case. Hints of Ariadne/Arthur.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything related to 'Inception' (though I desperately want JGL or Dicaprio's bank account number ^^)
( 'But she'll be damned if she doesn't admit to herself, that she misses it...' )

When the dream collapses...
Sep. 10th, 2010 11:38 pmSo, I went in and saw 'Inception'. And my mind was blown.
c'mon guys, what's not to like? I love these types of movies and this one in particular just hit a right cord in me. It's original, despite being close to other things we've seen, it has a solid plot and practicallt no clichés, and it might just be me, but those few that are seems necessary to the movie and just adds to the brilliance of it all. Christopher Nolan is my new God, I tell you.
( Spoilers ahoy! )
