sometimes, we rule
Feb. 26th, 2012 12:54 pmYesterday 5.000 young people demonstrated against the ACTA-deal in Denmark's capitol Copenhagen, more specifically on Israel's Place (where I've never been before, so I totally got lost on the way xD). Articles in Danish here and here, with pictures. I was only able to stay for about an hour (it's a two to three hour drive back home for me, which turned into four because DSB works for the Devil) and I was sooo tired after the party Friday, but it was actually a lot of fun and worth the expensive trip. I was surprised to meet three people from my old school that I haven't talked to in over a year, but the friend I was supposed to meet up with ditched me, so I didn't get my camera back and couldn't stay longer - I would've stayed at her place but noooo -.-
As you can see, they've picked up Anonymous's V for Vendetta's mask, and it's not only young people: I talked to a 60-year old guy who was very angry :D. I was also surprised by how many people there was, to be honest: that is a lot of people for such a small country, with so little opportunity to travel from the country to the capitol.
I'd translate the articles for you, but I am toolazy tired busy to do so right now: the gist of it is that for once we were awesome at doing a demonstration.
