There's this tiny little spider on my bathroom wall. I've named him Bernard. I'm letting him stay until the inevitable time when he sees me naked and will have to move out from the sudden awkwardness and conflicting feelings between us.

But this post is mainly just to warn you that, at least for a while, this is going to turn into a massive review-blog. I've still to do a picspam of the remaining seven episode of Game of Thrones season one (not sure if I'm going to do S2 yet) and I've decided, because Being Human is causing me so much pain with the end of season 2, that I am going to post a review of every episode of season 3 as they come. I don't know when I'm continuing with Supernatural season 6, but there will definitely be lots of Cas-ramblings when I get to that. And I still haven't started watching Firefly which I said I would, but never got around to because I've been very unproductive this summer and then BH turned into a complete sobfest. And then of course there are new seasons of Doctor Who and Downton Abbey coming soon. Does anyone know when the next season of The Big Bang Theory will be arriving? Is it September?

On books: I wanted to post a review of  A Feast for Crows, but seeing as I finished it right before Mallorca and then forgot to write down my thoughts, I think it would end up being too incoherent to post. Once I'm done with A Dance with Dragons I do think I will need therapy though, as this is the first time I will have to wait for a new book to arrive (yes, its so hard for us newer fans, I know ;P) Also, I have let myself be persuaded into reading True Blood. Yeah. That was a weird sentence to me as well. It's just that the show has so many amazing actors and then my English teacher, who has excellent taste in books, said she'd picked them up and quite liked them. I am conflicted! I don't want to be caught in another Twilight-nightmare, but I do want something a little less angsty than ASOIAF and a little less heavy than historical volumes to read.

Also my school is starting again for me the 13th and certain new incidents have made me even more uncertain about a lot of things, including education, so sorry for the possible coming angst-fest that might occur in the future. Right. Peace out ♥

Ah, you never know. Bernard could be a spider of the world. He'll probably handle the inevitable nakedness with maturity far beyond his spidery years *srs nod*

I've never read something greater about a spider. XD

Had a spider at work called Arvid. We nodded to each other in the tiny archive. Boss saw it and freaked out. I think he killed poor Arvid, because I never saw the little fellow again.

TBBT ♥ will air on Thursday the 27th of September. :-) They'll shoot that episode on the 14th of August, so there might be a taping report online on the 15th... *eager for spoilers*

Awww, evil boss :( though if they are too big and in my bedroom I tend to flip out as well. And then my nine-year old sister saves me from them :-) she just puts them back out in our garden though, which is very sweet.

*impatiently waiting* :D

Also, I have let myself be persuaded into reading True Blood.

I haven't read them, but I have a friend that's read them all, and she says they're terribly written, but still a lot of fun. So like a good trashy novel. If you're looking for something less heavy to read, they're probably a good bet?

I'm thinking of doing a Twilight-comparison, mainly just to piss off people who like either/both of them, and because I'm thinking they cannot possibly be as stupid/bad/creepy as Meyer's work. I'm thinking its probably somewhere in-between Meyer and Cassandra Clare's series (which definitely have their moments and good plot-lines, but gets very repetitive and overly dramatic)

The Sookie Stackhouse or Southern Vampire novels (as they were known before they series) are WAY better than Twilight! That I can promise you! As far as the series, I enjoy that too, but it has diverged so greatly from the books it is almost a different universe. So both can be enjoyed quite separately! I've been reading them for years. I was sad to hear that Charlaine Harris has said there will only be one more book and that she really doesn't intend to wrap up all the story lines

That's annoying? How many books are there now?

I believe there are 12, so book 13 will be the last.

Ah, okay :) Just finished the first one already - they're a very quick read. While there was a lot of things I most definitely didn't like, I am very happy about Sookie as a main character. She's very strong-willed and she is able to collect her head and say no to Bill and others (I have no idea what you think of Bill, but I want to punch him along with almost every other male Sookie knows xD). And she saves herself in the end! That was so cool and had me so relieved after Bella 'Dunderhead' Swan.
