Summary: Molly, taking care of Sherlock after the fall

The water seems like it’s taking forever to boil, and she doesn’t feel like she can do anything but stand in her kitchen and stare at it, waiting for the bubbles to form and the uproar to start. There’s always been a soothing feeling in doing this process, and she clings to it, the familiarity of the action amidst the recent events.

She adds the leaves and waits some more, tapping idly with her foot, wondering if he’ll even still be there when she walks back, if he’ll still be sitting on her couch, bruised and tired but alive.

He is, of course, looking surprisingly small considering that Sherlock Holmes normally tower over people and he accepts the tea-cup she hands him without a word. Still, she knows he’s grateful, for hiding him here, for making him damn tea, and that’s enough.

She’ll make tea to the end of days if it keeps her friends safe.
