So, apparantly tumblr and twitter says that there are rumors about Amy and Rory breaking up in S7.

After getting over my feelings of nononononowhyyyyy? let me point out that if it happens, it will be the most insanely stupid and ridicolous thing to ever be done. After everything these two have faced together - wobbly timelines, crazy imaginary friends, the universe ending, vampires, aliens, 2,000 years of waiting(!!), losing their daughter (!!!!!!), thinking their best friend dead, there is no way in fucking hell there is anything in this universe or the next that could possibly break up Rory and Amy Pond and destroy their love forever.

I would love to say that this is conclusional evidence to why it won't happen, but this is Moffat we're dealing with and I have been dissapointed so many times by him now that I am way too afraid to make such a statement. And if it happens?

OK, I want to clear this up. I was on set today when Arthur was being filmed getting onto a bus carrying the Rory and Amy divorce papers. I can confirm this.

However, I can also tell you that he was filming Episode 1, Scene 5. Yesterday, they were filming the END of Episode 1, which showed both Amy and Rory, happily waving to The Doctor before going into their house together.

I don't care. In my head canon they live a long and happy (and rather chaotic) life together and have other children and a very interesting relationship with their oldest daughter.

I'm going to be writing about it sometime probably next year, after I finish The Straight and Narrow Road and River's identity is revealed.

I've always felt that her relationship with her parents is one of the more interesting relationships present on the show--and predictably we don't see much exploration.

Hey hey hey, this happens in Episode One. The other night, we were filming with the Weeping Angels for Episode 5 until after 1 in the morning, and both Arthur and Karen were in the episode :) It'll be resolved!!! I've got tomorrow off, but I'm down at the studios on Easter Sunday, so I'll see what I can find out then.

As much as I like Amy and Rory, I always thought that Amy and the Doctor worked better together when he wasn't there. So I'd be fine with them splitting up for a while, but not permanently. Hopefully Moffat's just trolling again.

I actually prefer Rory over Amy, but Rory with Amy is pure gold. It goes Rory > Amy > Eleven, basically, tbh :/

I am actually the complete opposite of that - to me it's Eleven > Amy > Rory. I like Amy and Rory together, but not the kind of like that makes me want to jump up and down and squeal and hug them. IMO Rory cramps Amy's style.

Definitely not (in the long term, at least). He's spent the last two series making sure any other ship apart from Amy/Rory is impossible - seeing as everyone's related and all - he's not going to just break them up.
