So, do you really think it was Anna moving the spirit-board? I'm almost certain it wasn't Daisy. Do you believe it was the faint echo of Lavinia's ghost? Thomas having gone invisible and played a joke? Richard Carlisle... for whatever reason?

Gimme your theories!

(on another note, after almost an entire season where this show build up all my hope only to crush it with cruel vengeance, i will forever love this christmas episode it was amazing and perfect)

I'm absolutely convinced it was Lavinia's ghost/spirit, and nothing will make me change my mind about that.

I'm leaning towards this myself. I like that it's left up to the viewer :)

I think they want us to think it was Lavinia's ghost, but I don't want DA to have a supernatural element to it, and I don't believe in ouija boards etc., so I think it was Anna. Or Daisy. Either one of them, I don't care =P

However, YOU'VE SEEN THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!!! WASN'T IT AMAZING!!!!!

Okay, just seen this: 'i will forever love this christmas episode it was amazing and perfect'

I'll take that as a yes then....

The Chrismas Special made me ALMOST forgive Julian Fellowes for pulling us through the angsty misery that was S2... most of the time. It was like a bus crash that you just couldn't look away from! :-P And there's still the matter of Bates. I swear, if they don't fix that - RAWR!

Ouija board: ITA with [livejournal.com profile] novindalf. And the tension of such moments can stirr up a lot of subconscious ideas that leads you to do things you don't fully realise that you do. Ouija movements are a lot like dancing, in a way.

If Bates dies or stays in prison... I will write a complaining letter to Mr Fellowes myself.

This is making me want to actually try it, but despite not really believing in it, I'm still too scared to!
